Ptolemy is away in Indonesia broadening her creative horizons…

Dear Significant Colourists,

Please forgive the lack of posting recently. There has been a lot going on this month. Munich, France, Cheltenham, Bath, Princes Risborough, Edinburgh…. and NOW…

…Indonesia. I am heading off today on a research trip/holiday for three weeks to the remote shores of Indonesia to research Ikat and Batik among other things. When I get back there will be many posts I promise. My boyfriend took this picture this morning at breakfast which I think reveals my colourful state of mind.

As the wonderful Stefan Sagmeister says there is real value in taking time off’. Take a look at his TED talk for a blast of inspiration.

More when I return…
