Accidental Colour… Autumn

I was intrigued to find that Autumn does not always reveal the colours we expect. Even nature can provide some accidental and unexpected combinations. Lavender greys and candy floss pinks interspersed with the more typical golden yellows and russet oranges. The palest citrine yellow next to lime green in equal measure. These are found all on the same tree in the gardens at Scotney Castle; what I would call proper ‘blousy’ countryside… surreal fairytale landscape.
