Another Chromatic Landscape – Post hurricane Irene

Having flown across the Atlantic almost hours after Hurricane Irene I arrived in upsate New York to the most beautifuk  chromatic landscapes. Impossible to know that 24 hours earlier there had been the chaos of the hurricane. Soft blousy clouds in pale greys streaked with corals. Lavender violets puncuated with hot salmon pinks leading to an inky black night framing a orange sliver of a new moon.
